FIJI, PT. II
Having arrived in Savu Savu after an intense bout of traveling, we ate like pigs and slept like logs the first night. The second (and last) day in the small town was spent exploring the little bay it resides in, picking our noses, checking damage on boards/equipment and eating copious amounts of curry. We were so excited to board the boat that time moved slower than hardened concrete. Nonetheless, we had a good time adventuring in just trunks and a t-shirt, having just barely escaped from the first true signs of winter in Oregon Santa Barbara.

GOTZ ME ONE DEM JESUS PHONES
I've had an iPhone for several weeks and the thing is a trip. I've long wanted one but never felt the need to have such an expensive device ride at my hip, but last month I realized I'm married to my email inbox, and that their was no better device to preserve the sanctity of this union than this glorious touchscreen device. Here are some very miscelanious snaps from it's pretty decent camera. I've already started shooting a film with it too... should be pretty ghetto.

THE RAJ SPECIAL
Check out this bitchin' article about Bryan Loveless on Drift Magazine. Bryan is one of my biggest inspirations and closest friends, so it's nothing but a delight to see such a choice article put out about him. Seeing all of the photos we've taken together assembled in one place also makes me realize how much of an visual impact he's had on me.... CLICK HERE TO READ

RANE DEYNOLDS
Dane Reynolds and his Cameraman Mini run a wicked blog called Marine Layer Productions filled with daily edits and miscellaneous photos. While most of what we catch of the man is from exotic (and pretentious) trips that bolster his surfing's extremities, I truly enjoy just seeing media of Dane riding local waves for no other reason than pure fun. The above clip, shot on their wonky bolex, particularly tickles my fancy.

SUBAQUATICA FIJI
Here's a clip I made of some underwater randomness in Fiji last month. Brandon and Trevor star in some peculiar shots, filmed when there weren't any waves during our stay in the north eastern part of the country. Man how I miss that water....

BOGGED
I am lost in a sea of content that despite my most valiant efforts, grows more ferocious and unruly every day. I have so much to share of such a vast array of things, but alas it does nothing but compound with the speed of daily life and slurp me into the depths of its abyss. I'm on track to get back on the program very soon, but in the mean time please enjoy the art of someone who mulches my overgrown garden of a life with inspiration every day. and listen to this classic too.

IT WAS OFFSHORE
On my way home from San Diego I met up and surfed this secret spot with Brandon, Trevor, Conner and Walters. It was absolutely frozen and gusting offshore, with this peculiar lighting that had me running to put away the board for the camera. Upon determining I had no clue what I was going for, I sat back and watched this strange session unfold. Here are some from that frigid evening.
